SMS

• The SMS feature can be accessed by opening the Ringotel application and pressing the Chats icon. Any existing SMS conversations or new messages will appear on this page.

• To initiate a new SMS, press the + button. A pop up will appear with a list of options. Select Create Chat.

• In the To field, you may manually enter a telephone number. Alternatively, you can browse through your contacts.

• You may begin typing your message. To add a photo, press the paperclip icon on the right side of the text.

• Once you are ready to send your message, press “enter” or “return” on your keyboard, or press the send icon on the right of the page.

• A checkmark will appear, confirming that the send was successful.

If your organization has multiple SMS users connected to a single telephone number, please take note of the following:

• When a new SMS is received, it is delivered to all users. An antenna icon appears near the contact name, indicating that the SMS is part of a group chat.

• If another user replied to the SMS, all users that are part of the group chat can see the two-way conversation. Users will also be able to distinguish who replied to the SMS.
