Connect to Wi-Fi
To connect your Grandstream WP820 to a Wi-Fi network, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Settings
Network Settings
Wi-Fi settings
Your phone will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Highlight the network that is relevant to you, and press Connect
If there is a password associated with your Wi-Fi network, press the circular middle button located between the arrow keys and enter your Wi-Fi password. You can change the keyboard input by pressing the middle button (Ab2/ABC/abc/123). To enter a special character, ensure that you are in Ab2 mode. Special characters can be accessed by pressing 1 or *
Press Connect once your password has been entered
In the event that the password you entered was incorrect, and the Wi-Fi network reads “Authentication Problem”:
Highlight the problematic Wi-Fi network
Press the circular middle button located between the arrow keys
The advanced Wi-Fi settings will appear. You will see “Signal Strength” and “Security Mode”. Press the Options button, then select Modify Network.
Highlight the Password field, and press the circular middle button located between the arrow keys.
Enter the correct Wi-Fi password. You can change the keyboard input by pressing the middle button (Ab2/ABC/abc/123). To enter a special character, ensure that you are in Ab2 mode. Special characters can be accessed by pressing 1 or *
